OHANA STEM in December
This month in our Ohana STEM class, we are exploring the "Technology" and "Engineering" part of STEM!
After our bigger STEM class students built some robots over the summer and in other programs, we let the little Ohana class students learn how to make them move.
By using the STAR WARS R2-D2 droid and a Sphero robotic ball, the students used tablets to control their movements.
It was hard at first because the children had to learn how to give commands using the toggle on the tablet app.
Once they got the hang of it, they had a really great time!
