Tuesday 6/12 Traffic Safety Class
Today the students had a great lesson with the local police department, who came to demonstrate the proper road safety technique when crossing the road.
The students were given a brief lecture, followed by an entertaining cartoon to drive the message home. This was followed by a practical session, where each student had the chance of demonstrating their new skills. Everyone had lots of fun, especially at the end, when we were given an up-close and hands-on inspection of the many weapons and restraints carried by the policemen!
