Everyone was thrilled to bits to make their own christmas cards in the art class.
Most of them painted and colored their papers with the green and red colors to feel the
festive season.

We hope you all enjoy your Christmas/Winter vacation!

Thursday 12/20

STEAM lesson was a blast today as the students tried their hands at handling the robots in teams and at programming. It is funny to see how children would immediately confer a personality onto the robot. 'Where is he going?' 'Why doesn't he want to move?' are just some of the great questions that they asked.

In Reggio the students built train tracks and afterwards had a race by pulling on a train attached to their backs! Everyone had great fun. Today's question of the day was 'When is Christmas?'

Wednesday 12/19

After a long time, today the sun was shining brightly and that let us play a lot in the park.
At school we had a fun morning circle. We sang really loudly!
Today's phrase is "What month is it?"

Tuesday 12/18

Today, we tried to find different colors in the classroom like red box, blue heart, black skeleton etc.
After lunch, we stacked blocks on top of each other to make a tall tower.
Then we ran a lot in Kid-fit!
Today's phrase is "Can you make a tower taller than yourself?"

Monday 12/17

Today was the long awaited cooking class!
We made fruits cookies. It was so yummy that we finished it in seconds!
In lesson time we learnt how the mother duck warms her egg until it hatches.
We also played with blocks.
Today's phrase is " Do you brush your teeth before sleeping?".

Friday 12/14

There is only one more day left until our much-awaited Christmas Party!
They are very excited to perform in front of all the parents!

Thursday 12/13

We got the kids out to the park pronto today to warm up and beat the cold weather. It put smiles on their faces and they enjoyed the day's STEAM lesson, which was about robots! As they did particularly well in today's daily Christmas performance practise we played two quick games of musical chair and cops and robbers, back-to-back.

Not to be outdone the smaller kids had a good time during their practise too! The cold weather sure is a good motivator for moving around.

At the end of the day the children were asked, "What did you see in the park today?" and everyone had their own special answer.

Wednesday 12/12

We have been playing in the park a lot, hence to take time off playing we went to the library and enjoyed reading books.
When we came back to school what did we find waiting for us - fun lessons of Kid-Fit and Music!
Today's pharse is "Who stole the cookies?"

Tuesday 12/11

Today the big students learnt what a robot is. They also tried to move the robot with a remote control.
The small kids tried making Potato Pals.
Today's phrase is "It's nose","It's mouth","Its ears" etc.
