As we look forward to the coming end of winter, Today the children enjoyed a craft. They colored faces and pants onto the paper cups and taped on hornes to make ogres. Later, they received bean snacks to take home in their ogre cups, and they said "Ogres out! Good luck in!" We also did some regular lesson activities- singing, matching shapes, and counting objects.

Caterpillar students learned about shapes and Butterfly (2yrs) students worked on their writting skills.
In the afternoon Butterfly (3yrs) and Ladybug students went for a nature science walk. Kids learned about Incline, Decline, Level and Gravity while going up and down the bridge.After that they had some play time as a reward.
　

　

　

　

　

　

February and March Lesson Plan


-Reggio Emillia

February's Reggio Emillia Theme is "My Body." Students will explore the systems of the body, (bones, heart, brain, etc.) and how they help the body do things (provide support, pump blood, thick/control, etc.) Also, students will learn the body parts in English.

March's reggio Emillia Theme is "Music and Sound." The focus this month will be on making music using sounds from wind instraments and wind activated sounds (such as wind chimes).

-Kid-Fit

February and March Kid-Fit Theme is "Muscle."
Children will learn what muscles are, why we need them, who has them, what they do, and how we keep them strong.

-STEM

The February STEM Theme is Zoology.
Students will learn about different animals and how they live.

March STEM Theme is Magnetism.
Students will learn about magnets and how they work.

-Medical

February's Medical lesson will be the Musculo-Skeletal system.

March's Medical Lesson will be about the Nervous System.

2018年も始まって早くも一か月が終わりますね。
インフルエンザが流行っているようですが、
アメチャボの生徒さんはあまりお休みの方が見られず
元気に通ってくださっています。
このまま元気に寒い冬を過ごしきれるといいですね。

さて、1月のクラフトです。

　
厚紙とフエルトを使って馬を作りました。一生懸命自分の馬に色を塗ってますね。


1月のクッキングは門松を作りました。
麩菓子にポッキーをさすのが子供たちには新しい感覚だったようで、
おぉーーーと言いながら門松を作ってました。

　


クッキングとクラフトの他にライティングの時間もありますよ！
　
今年のクラスももうすぐ始まって1年になりますが、
最初に書いてる文字と今書いている文字の丁寧さが成長していて、
とてもうれしくなります。

さあ、2月も寒さに負けず英語を楽しもう！

高宮校幼稚園クラス、小学生クラスでは、従来の90分クラスだけではなく、

2月2日（金）節分　先生が鬼になって登場します。

1月の工作では、レインボーを作りました。
　

The students showed their art skills to their parents during their art lessons. Their parents also helped them draw and paint aswell.
In the afternoon we went to the nearby small park. Kids showed their physsical movements, they have been  learning in their classes such as jumping, hopping and running.

　Butterfly 2yrs and Caterpillar class students focused on creating connections between pieces of puzzles and the categories of animals and means of transportation.
Butterfly 3yrs and Ladybugs class students learned connecting puzzles led to the connecting of letters in spelling out words the students are familier with.
　

　

　

　 

We had a wonderful Open School introducing various classes here at Keiki International School to the public. Participants were ushered between Art, Craft, Reggio, EFL as well as a Mediacl Lesson while these classes were in progress. Afterwards, Ms.Reiko addressed the attendees, explaining our values, the school's approach to learning and the principles that guide the way we teach. The event was concluded with a video introducing the past events of the school.
