Excursion -Digging Sweet Potatoes-

10月25日、くもりぞらでお天気が少し心配されましたが、元気にお芋掘り遠足に行ってきました。こどもたちの中にはお芋掘りが初めてで、畑の土を触るのも初めての生徒もいて、最初はおそるおそるでしたが、一株に大きなお芋が何個もついてるのを自分で掘り出すとにこにこ笑顔になっていました。土を触って、土のにおいをかいで土の中の生き物に気付いて・・・と普段では出来ない経験に生徒たちは大興奮でした。秋の自然に親しみ、収穫に感謝をする遠足になりました。

Sports Day

10月16日はSports Dayでした。
当日はあいにくの雨模様でしたが、たくさんの方々が来てくださいました。
「Kid-Fit」ではTeam CaterpillarとTeam Butterflyのかわいいエクササイズがあり、その後にはTeam Ladybugがカッコ良くKid-Fitを披露してくれました。
動物サイコロレース、障害物競走、かけっこなどにもみんな一生懸命でした。
また、保護者の方々には、多くの競技にご参加いただくだけでなく、競技中にもたくさんお手伝いいただきました。ご協力くださった皆様、本当にありがとうございました！

Hoku Class

Subject: Christmas Performance Practice

It's October and that means two things: 1.) Halloween preparation and 2.) practice for Christmas Performance!

We have been talking about what costumes the students want to wear for Halloween week (October 25th~October 31st). Some students have decided what to wear, but some are still thinking. Teacher Tina is still wondering whether she should be a black cat or a scary witch...

The Christmas Party will be on Sunday, December 4th this year, so that means, we only have a good 8-9 weeks to practice. The teachers at ACB will try our best to help the students in any way we can, but we also ask parents to help your children practice at home as well.
